9 Messages. 4 months ago. Several people are reporting this uverse outage across the country (chicagoland, Houston, etc). At&t website is not acknowledging the outage. See downdetector.com for ongoing customer reports of this nationwide uverse outage. Internet and phone working fine, only uverse is down.Unplug the RG and DVR and STB (s)and any WAP for wireless receiver (s), wait 30 seconds and plug the RG back in. When that turns all green, then plug the DVR back in and wait until it reboots. Then if there is a WAP, plug it in and let it turn green. Then plug in the STB (s), wait til it reboots and see if all 3 work.The exact reason for AT&T to stop the U-verse service is unclear. Some say it was due to the decline of its customer base. Update: As of 11:20AM EST issue is resolved. Problem was related to migration of cloud services IPTV (change of IP address) in the Azure cloud for U-Verse mid-region IPTV server. Old IP restored.
