There is no real best setup though. Some are better than others, but there are multiple good ways to build every weapon. The big thing to remember is that you usually want one weapon for big bugs and one for swarms. Or sometimes a close-range weapon and a reach weapon. Some sort of division of labor is usually good. 3.LS with Lead Storm OC. Bulldog with Elephant Rounds OC. I use this loadout on every mission btw. Being able to kill a high priority target is always more valuable than being able to kill grunts fast. You can kill grunts with any gun. You can't kill a stingtail that will actually wipe the group with any gun.

As a general rule of thumb, your **Heavy Pistol** should be your "Primary" weapon. You should always keep it out, so you can quickly take out few grunts, or ranged bugs. However, don't bother with many bugs, since of your limited ammo count. And also don't waste your **Minigun** ammo on solo targets, or small groups (<7) like grunts, lootbugs, etc.
